BOBI
Among Filipinos, cooking usually brings the family together. This is what happened between Jessica, of Filipino origin, and Aurélie.
BOBI was founded at the end of 2019 by these two long-time friends, where one discovered in the other a culture that was totally unknown to her.
They wanted to share the same experience of home-cooked Filipino food (with Jessica's family-inspired recipes), by creating a place that would enable everyone to gather around a generous cuisine that is still little known in France. from the family), by creating a place where everyone could gather around a generous cuisine that is still little known to the French. That's why most dishes are served à la carte, because in the Philippines, sharing a variety of dishes is customary. But BOBI is also a short menu that changes according to the season, using fresh local and Philippine produce!
They also wanted to honor the " carinderia " (bouis-bouis), the little stalls found all over the archipelago that serve homemade, popular cuisine on a daily basis. Hence the name "BOBI", short for "boui-boui".
But more than just a kitchen, they wanted to build a warm, accessible place that would make you feel at home.
